Projekt224 and MUX invites you to a day filled with music, artinstallations, performace art and much more the 13th of November when they host 8000 Sounds Vol. 3 at Godsbanen. You will be able to experience sensory universe of darkness, mystic and icing beauty when we collectivly walk towards the winter.
From 17:30-19:45 you will for FREE be able to experience Projekt224s curating of Teater Katapults venue which is transformed into a universe of spectacular art installations, performances, sound and light installations. The textile artist, Alberte Holmø Bojesen have created the installation Self Portrait specifically for this exhibition and this venue. The work invites the viewer to move around this great piece and loose one self whitin the physical and non-physical layers that the installation provides.
There will also be performances by the artist Sebastian Jakobsen, who lets himself get inspired by the human form and psyche which is reflected in the performance It Grows Inside Out accompanied by great costumes, video projections and sound installations. The performance artist Rikke Bogetoft present the work STUDSNING (eng.: trimming) which invites the audience to participate in an intimate journey of reflection and renewal. The performance is based on the gardeners task to trim the plants so that they will flourish next spring.
From 20:00-22:30 with a ticket at the price of 65 kr. you will also be able to enjoy the talented musicians from Aarhus. The musicians are DØTRE, Kaizer and Dragongirl. All of the performances will be accompanied by the VJ Iben Tryel who will live tailor the visual expression of the stage while the music is playing.
